GitHub is home to over 40 million developers working together to host and review code, manage projects, and build software together. Mod Organizer 2 is a mod manager created by Tannin to support 64bit games like Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4 in addition to all the 32bit games MO1 already supported. Tannin discontinued the project when he was hired by the Nexus team to develop their new Vortex mod manager.

I'm assuming you're using MO1? Not long ago, an european law forced nexus to change their protocols, idk the details but since then, MO1 has trouble communicating with nexus. About Mod Organizer. Mod Organizer by Tannin (Tannin42 on the Nexus) is an advanced mod manager for Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4, Oblivion, Skyrim, and Skyrim Special Edition. It is localized in English (American), Czech, Dutch, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, and Chinese (both simplified and traditional). Its primary purpose is to provide a way to install mods in a manner that leaves the game's install folder intact and untouched, doing so via a By the way. The best place for Skyrim would be in that D-drive and out of the Program Files (x86) folder. If you install Mod Organizer directly to Skyrim folder, it will automatically recognize itself as Skyrim Mod Organizer allowing you to install separate instances of MOs to games it supports. Just a note. :) As explained in the FAQ, Mod Organizer (MO) uses mod isolation, a feature in which every mod is installed into its own directory. This provides for an untouched game data folder, void of installed mods, which is the main feature of MO. This section will not only discuss the technical details and challenges of this approach, but also its Ok I figured out the hard part. Apparently both "Bodyslide.exe" and "BodyslideWXP.exe" must be set to run as administrator. I just need to figure out how to make the texture show up in the preview now and possibly load meshes in the Outfit Studio. This allows MO to download mods when the Download with Manager button is clicked on the Nexus. If this does not work, follow the MO Troubleshooting Guide; If the update icon is lit up, click it to update Mod Organizer to the latest version. Click the profiles icon in the toolbar and click the Create button.

I forgot to add that to the post, I added an exception for the entire MO folder in my main security already. And I just allowed MO.exe and nxmhandler.exe through my firewall and nothing changed. Same is happening for Mod Organizer, states "Download Failed, Server Reported", it is based over several mod pages, I believe it is a server issue. Edited by dragonhunterspy, 17 March 2016 - 03:44 PM. Now every mod I try to install it gives me this message "extracting failed (7)" I have tried ELFX, Climates of tamrial, other amidian borns, each one takes me to the down-loader menu where I can pick specific things I would want out of each mod, Then i manual download pick a "data directory" if it needs one then when mod organizer says "looks I didn't explain very well, it cant be added as an executable it has to be a new game entirely, so as if you were installing fallout into mod organizer, but even 2.1 doesn't recognize skyrim vr as being a game which exists so you have to get the plugin and put the DLL into MOs plugins directory. Just download manually. Then add to Mod Organizer with the "Install a new mod from an archive" button in the top left corner.

This does not directly help with you situation, but I got in the habit early on to download mods through a browser and then moving the downloaded mod archive into the MO downloads folder manually. It's an extra step, but works well and helps me better manage the MO download directory as I tend to download a lot of mods that I do not use right away (or ever). This way only the mods I use in my MO profiles are in there. *** I just retested, indeed you need to "Run FNIS" first, which is not logical. After first run THEN you can choose the patches and run a second time Dopo il Creator Update con Windows 10 64Bit e per chi ha più di 4GB di VRAM (quella della scheda video) si è ripresentato di nuovo il problema di Loot che non carica le Mod! [ENG] if you have - place your mod on the following directory: Oblivion\ModOrganizer\downloads - open Mod Organizer - go to the Downloads tab and right-click the mod - Click Query Info - If it asks for the Mod ID, just paste the numbers found on the mod's Nexus page URL (the ones at the end). Otherwise, it should be automatic. Also try uninstalling the mod manager and reinstalling If you download a mod and it fails this could help. I think this problem was made quite recently, you can download mods manually, and (whilst zipped) place them in your mod organizer downloads folder directly until the problem is fixed. edit: yes as Joseph said, probably has to do with the NMM update.
